I hope everyone has been having a great summer. It is almost time to begin Marching Band. I have to tell you, I am very VERY excited.
Still waiting on some of the info for orientation, still waiting on a little bit of info on band camp report times (plan on sometime in the 6am or 7am hour for that).

Squad leader day is 8:30am-1pm August 9th (Start in the HHS Band Room for both) Attendance is mandatory if you wish to be considered for squad leader candidacy.
Newbie day is 8:30am-1pm August 10th. Attendance is OPTIONAL FOR NEWBIES (although we strongly suggest it simply because it is very helpful) but is MANDATORY FOR SL CANDIDATES. Everyone should bring their instruments to these days and we suggest you bring a water bottle, sunscreen and comfortable shoes. We also suggest for the newbies that you wear athletic gear. In the past we have kids get a little exhausted if they overdress.
